Paul Rak Awarded CEM Designation
Paul Rak, President and founder of both VeriForm and VeriGreen, was awarded the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation after completing an extensive course in Toronto. This certification is widely recognized as an extremely difficult designation to earn and is roughly equivalent to a professional engineer designation in the eyes of the Canadian federal government.
With this designation, Paul will:
be federally recognized as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by National Research Council of Canada
be authorized to use a stamp to sign off on federal audits instead of getting a professional engineer to sign off on them
be able to carry out energy audits not only here in Canada but also on American soil
Paul was quite excited with the news that he had passed this course and comment, "This is a big accomplishment for me personally. It also adds more legitimacy to the work we do at VeriGreen and opens doors to government and institutional business we might otherwise not have access to."

Paul Rak presents "Going Green for Profits"
On March 18th, Paul Rak, President and founder of both VeriForm and VeriGreen, spoke to members of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce to share his experiences and results in his efforts to "Go Green" at VeriForm, the Cambridge fabricating plant he founded.
Paul emphasized that it's just a warm, fuzzy thing approach to greening your business, it is a must. He took the audience through the initiatives that put $90,000 back in his company's pocket every year. "This is about finding the hidden profit in your business," he said. "No matter how small or how big your business is, there is hidden profit in every one." Paul went on to provide valuable information about how to approach environmental responsibility responsibly and, most of all, profitably.
